At Atlas Junk Removal, our goal is to make the junk removal process easy, safe, and stress-free. While we’re able to haul away most household and commercial items, there are certain materials we cannot accept due to safety concerns, environmental regulations, and local disposal laws.
Understanding these restrictions helps ensure a smooth estimate and prevents delays on service day.
🚫 Items We Can’t Accept
Hazardous Materials
For the safety of our team and the environment, we cannot remove:
❌ Chemicals, solvents, or industrial waste
❌ Paints, stains, thinners, or varnishes
❌ Pesticides, herbicides, or fertilizers
❌ Asbestos or asbestos-containing materials
❌ Medical or biohazard waste
❌ Explosives, ammunition, or fireworks
Automotive & Mechanical Waste
We are unable to haul:
❌ Gasoline, diesel, or motor oil
❌ Transmission or brake fluids
❌ Car batteries
Pressurized & Regulated Items
These items require special handling and cannot be removed:
❌ Propane tanks (full or partially full)
❌ Fire extinguishers
❌ Large quantities of lithium batteries
❌ Pressurized containers
Biological, Sanitary, & Illegal Items
For health and legal reasons, we cannot accept:
❌ Human or animal waste
❌ Contaminated materials
❌ Needles or sharps
❌ Stolen property or illegal substances
